NIGEL Farage is set to slam the European Union and Turkey over a proposed deal as he calls on Britons to sever ties with the bureaucratic bloc.
The Ukip leader will use a speech to the European Parliament on Wednesday to denounce plans to speed up Ankara's application for EU membership in return for helping to stem the flow of refugees crossing the Mediterranean.
The Grassroots Out spokesperson will say: “A vote for Remain is a vote for Turkey.”
Mr Farage will also accuse Turkey of having “bullied and blackmailed” the EU over the migrant crisis.
Mr Farage is set to hammer the EU in front of European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and European Parliament President Martin Schulz.
He will portray the forthcoming EU referendum as a decision whether Britain should begin a “political union” with Turkey.
A new deal has been announced that will see Turkey take back migrants apprehended in the Adriatic Sea in exchange for an extra £2billion from the EU.
